Un-put-downable action, more potentially lethal twists than an electric eel, a spunky yet vulnerable seven-foot heroine with retractable claws...plenty of fun. I don't read much science fiction, but I got ahold of a copy of Blade Dancer and just loved it! Don't miss this one!

Super adictive. One of those books that when you reach the end, you want more. I loved the main character. She was very strong, but had just enough weaknes to make her easy to identify with. The kind of woman I would like to be! Highly reccommended to all sci-fi lovers!

This is fast paced, with a lot of dry wit and action. Recommended for new comers to Viehl's writing. The book is in the same universe as Bio Rescue and Star Doc (my favorite), so it's easy to cross over the various aliens & characters. If you are into fancy knives and ninja things, this is what blade dancers are: ninjas with blades. Sci-Fi/Fantasy fans only need apply.

Viehl is a good author--but I don't really care for her writing style. I read her star doctor series (for a while anyway) and I decided to try another of her books to see if I liked the plot line any better. I'm sorry to say I don't--but I know others tend to enjoy her work.

This book is delightfully packed with hardcore action from a kick-butt heroine and her cast. I'd recommend this book to anyone who doesn't mind aliens!

I love this book! It has unique characters and the lead character is a strong female which is what I love to read about. The plot is good, but the real special things are the orininal and totally unique characters and how they interact. I hope there is another in this series!

Jori Rask is a professional shockball player, which is basically saying that she is either a masochist or crazy in the head. She is also 7 feet tall and her mother is blue, but nevermind those little details. She's in big trouble with the Earth authorities, and if they catch her they will banish her from the planet, and besides, has promised her mother to find the other members of her family--nevermind also that she hasn't ever met them.
A novel in the STARDOC universe.
Absolutely tops--great reading.
