if you haven't read this classic, you're missing out! I love the character Hawk-Eye...his story is wonderful to read. -Mirah W.
This 1962 edition of the 1850 classic includes the authors original introduction. Hawk-eye dislikes society and heads into the wilderness as a frontier scout. He befriends MOhican Chingachgook and together they survive encounters with deception, brutality, the death of loved ones. This is a renowned study into friendship between two very different people.
