The La Leche "bible" for information, assistance, and support in breastfeeding your child. I found it to be full of information and very useful!!

Back of book says "The definitive guide to breastfeeding for new mothers who want to understand and satisfy their babies' needs."

I found this helpful with my second and third babies too. I referred to it often and could always find answers to my questions/concerns.

This is the 1997 version (6th revised edition) of the classic book by La Leche League. This book was a life saver for me when I was learning how to breastfeed my oldest child. The difference between this book and the other breastfeeding books on the market is that this one has a very warm and fuzzy feeling. The tone and attitude is very warm and treats the mother and baby as real people which is different than the books written by doctors who have never breastfed a child (or written by men), who write of the mother and baby as 'patients'. This book covers everything from how to breastfeed, how to wean, dealing with problems with nursing, discipline and starting solids (and more). I can't recommend this book or La Leche League in general highly enough!

Very helpful resource for new, breastfeeding Mothers. Authors are from the La Leche League - so very pro-breastfeeding.

Didn't read all of it just those things that I had questions on, etc.
