Book Description:
Bestselling author Madeline Baker, writing as Amanda Ashley, presents her most passionate romance yet.

There's something otherworldly about Alexander Claybourne. With his dark, arresting features and mesmerizing eyes, the seductive stranger looks every inch a vampire. Kara Crawford laughed at the local talk of creatures lurking in the dark, never imagining that Alex really was a vampire.

The townsfolk of Moulton Bay said there was something otherworldly about Alexander Claybourne. Some people whispered that with his dark, arresting features and mesmerizing eyes, the seductive stranger looked every inch a vampire. They never guessed how near the truth they were--or that after more than two hundred years of resisting temptation, Claybourne had found a woman he had to possess.

I liked this book but it is not one I would reread.

Very good romance storyline with the added excitement of a vampire.

Laughing at local superstitions that the mesmerizing Alexander Claybourne is a centuries-old vampire, Kara Crawford befriends the handsome stranger and begins an otherworldy adventure of the heart. Amanda Ashley's books, which are highly sought after by many people, fall short with me in terms of passion and depth of characters.
