I'm really getting into this faerie tale series. It's not hard to figure out that Big Bad Wolf is a take on Red Riding Hood. But that's where all similarities end. Wolf is the town villain, or so everyone assumes. Years earlier he acquired that reputation when his first wife died under mysterious circumstances on their wedding night. Years later, he meets "Red" as she's on her way to grandma's house. Sparks fly between the pair until they finally marry. But they have to undergo many hardships before they can finally be a real couple...from his first wife's death to "Red's" fear that her new husband will never truly love her. Part of the Faerie Tale's. I really liked the way that the Wolf actually was a man and the Red Riding Hood was a woman that knew her own mind. Really hard to post- 4 STARS!
