I enjoyed this book. This is from the back cover. In all his four hundred years, Rayven had never met a woman like Rhianna McLeod. She was a vision of light, of warmth, of everything he was not-nor could ever be. Doomed to live forever in darkness and solitude, he know all too well the risk in getting close to her, yet he hungered for her with a fierce passion he swore he'd never allow himself to feel.
Rhianna's father had sold her to Rayven to put food on the table-so she had no choice but to go with the dark stranger. To her surprise, he gave her everything she wanted-the finest clothes, education, and the run of the castle-everything, that is, except his touch. For although she sensed danger beneath his soft-spoken manner, although even Rayven himself warned her away, she was drawn to this creature of the night, and loved him as she would no other.

It must have been good because the ending kept me up until 1 am!
Total chick light but I enjoyed it.

I don't normally like this type of subject matter, but this was very good. Three tissue book.

I loved this book!! I think that Amanda Ashley put herself into this book in ways that she hasn't done in a very long time. This is probably has to be my favorite book that she has ever written. This book is most certainly worth your time and for those of you that collect it is a great book for your collections.

Continuing this successful series of vampire romances, Madeline Baker writes as Amanda Ashley. In all his 400 years, Rayven had never met a woman like Rhianna. Her father had sold her to Rayven to put food on the table. Now, although Rhianna senses danger beneath his soft-spoken manner, although Rayven himself warns her away, Rhianna is drawn to this creature of the night, and loves him as she will love no other.
