Book Description:
Aphrodite's girdle was missing and Hale knew that the artifact would take all his superpowers to retrieve. The mortal who had found and donned it--one Tracy Tannin, the descendant of a goddess of the silver screen--hadn't exactly been as popular as her grandmother. Now everyone wanted her--including some very nasty bad guys who aren't interested in her smile.

But the golden girdle can only be recovered through honest (or not entirely dishonest) means, which meant that there was no chance for Hale to simply become invisible and whisk it away. (Although, after watching Tracy, he thought of other garments that he would like to remove.) No, there was little chance to avoid interaction with the woman. Maybe he should convince her that she was as desirable as he saw her (which was too desirable for a mortal). Only then would she realize that she was worth loving no matter what she was wearing--or what she wasn't.

Second in the quirky series about the Greek Gods and their descendants in the modern world. Funny and different, a nice bright change of pace from the usual vampire/werewolf scene.

First book in a 4 book series regarding modern day superheros. They were all fun to read and best read in order. I hate reading a book and finding out that there were other books regarding the characters that were done prior: The order is: Aphrodite's Kiss, Aphrodite's Passion, Aphrodite's Secret and Aphrodite's Flame.

This was a cute and funny story of a Plain Jane, Tracy, having fantasies about the romance cover model, Hale. Tracy gets her hands on her Grandmother's Girdle, which she thinks gives her a boost of confidence, instead it acts out her desires. Hale is a superhero who is sent on a mission to get the Girdle to avoid the bad guys from getting it and thus causing world domination. This is a good and funny love story.

all about a mystical girdle who makes the women who wear it irrestible to the opposite sex and a immortal who must get it back.

From the back cover:

Taking it Off

Aphrodite’s Girdle was missing, and Hale knew the artifact would take all his superpowers to retrieve. The mortal who’s found and donned it – one Tracy Tannin, the descendent of a goddess of the silver screen – hadn’t exactly been as popular as her grandmother; not before the belt. Now everyone wanted her…including some very nasty bad guys who weren’t interested in her smile.

But the golden girdle could only be recovered through honest (or not entirely dishonest) means, which meant there was no chance for Hale to simply become invisible and whisk it away. (Although, watching Tracy, he found himself imagining other garments he’s like to remove.) No, there was little chance to evade interaction with the woman. Maybe he should convince her she was as desirable as he saw her (which was too desirable for a mortal…). Only then would she realize she was worth loving no matter what she was wearing – or what she wasn’t.
