I actually read another book in this series first. I liked the other book so much I came back and read all the books of the series in order! This was a pretty good book, with a good story. I liked most of the people in the story even the bad guy/s. They were well thought out and for the most part very likable. Although I thought it was kind of predictable, and I knew exactly how it would end, I still was hooked and couldn't quit reading. Good story for any one who likes mysteries or woman detectives.

Nonstop romantic/ suspense by a master storyteller. She also does not have to use excessive sexual and/or gory scenes to sell a book.

From one clue to the next, Coulter keeps you reading. Then with her usual florish - surprises you with a twist you never expect. Super!

Typical Coulter - - lots of twists and turns, interesting characters and great story line. Tight and fast reading. A town is systematically killing people and into this comes an FBI agent tracking a totally different crime. How will the two mesh? Read this great book and find a little romance too.

Fantastic thriller/mystery by Catherine Coulter. Featuring the handsome FBI Special Agent James Quinlan and the on-the-run Sally Brainerd, daughter of a Washington D.C. bigwig. It takes place in D.C. and in Oregon and just when you think you know what's going on, Coulter throws a wrench in. It is a fun read!!!

a good story but too much lovey dovey and not enough grit

I've read some of the Dillon Savich books but wanted to read the first one he was in-before Sherlock. It more than lived up to my expecations!
