Book Description:
Stiles Island is a wealthy and exclusive enclave separated by a bridge from the Massachusetts coast town of Paradise. He faces romantic entanglements in triplicate: his ex-wife, Jenn, is in the Paradise jail for assault; he's begun a new relationship with a Stiles Island realtor named Marcy Campbell; and he's still sorting out his feelings for attorney Abby Taylor. When Macklin's attack on Stiles Island is set in motion, both Marcy and Abby are put in jeopardy. As the casualties mount, it's up to Jesse to keep both women from harm.

Back cover: Robert B. Parker's ner hero,, Jesse Stone, has just settled into his positon as police chief of Pardise Massachusetts. But there's trouble in Pardidise when the wealthy enclave of Stiles Island catches the eye of thieves who come to look at a house-and end up taking the whole island.

Well worth the read whether you're a Spenser fan or not because this is the best new series out there - and Tom's easy on the eyes!

The 2nd Jesse Stone novel - and better than the 1st, in my opinion. I love Jesse & his outlook on things.
#2 in the series. Just as great as the first!
Parker's "new" leading man, Jesse Stone, saves the day - though not a couple of his officers - again for Paradise, MA, this time against a group of homicidal bank/home/store robbers who take on a whole island. A good read.
