Book Description:
Across the country women are being murdered by an extraordinarily clever killer who leaves no trace of evidence, no fatal wounds, no signs of struggle, and no clues to an apparent motive. All the victims have in common is one thing: they each knew Jack Reacher.

It's "spectacular" (Seattle Times) and "swift and brutal" (New York Times).

Plan to stay up long past bedtime and do some serious hyperventilating toward the end. (Kirkus Reviews)

Reacher belongs at the same table with Parker's Spenser. (Booklist)

Think Bruce Willis and you have this fellow tagged! I really enjoy this author, but would personally like to be the proofreader for him! In the middle I would like to cut lots of wordy paragraphs, even though I like the rough and tumble, and tattered hero, fewer words in explantion would help him out!

I thought I had this one figured out several times, and was wrong wrong wrong! skillful snarl of details that mislead and puzzle until it all comes together. Brilliantly written with engaging characters and an amazing plot. Totally a page turner.

I discovered Lee Child through Paperback Swap, and I can't get enough of his books. Usually when you read several books by the same author they begin to blend into each other...not Lee Child. The endings are always a suprise. It is hard to put his books down! This book, Running Blind, is the third of his I have read and the best so far.

Book Four in the Jack Reacher series. A bit more cerebral than the three previous, and perhaps more introspective for our hero. My favorite so far. The final twist will make you want to go back and read the whole novel again, just to "see"... (I had to resist the temptation, since I already had the next installment ready and waiting!)

Never saw the ending coming. Women "drowned" in military-colored green paint with no other indication of cause of death. Reacher is "persuaded" to help find the killer; he also struggles with whether to stay in a relationship with Jodie, the one he truly connected to, or to move on in his oh-so-familiar nomadic ways.

Every time I read a Jack Reacher novel I think "this one is the best." And they are all fabulous. But, honestly, I think this one is the winner - so far. It kept me guessing all the way through and I never, even remotely, guessed how it would end. I'm absolutely positive you'll love this book.

Fairly typical Jack Reacher book. I managed to figure this one out.

This is good story, as usual a bit too wordy. Lot of detail about guns. Reacher is an odd guy but likable.

A fun read. Jack Reacher works to outwit the FBI while solving a string of murders - both plot lines are enjoyable, full of twists and cunning detecive work. My favorite of his first 4 Reacher novels.

3.5 stars out of 5

Across the country women are being murdered, victims of an extraordinarily disciplined and clever killer who leaves no trace evidence, no fatal wounds, no signs of a struggle, and no clues to an apparent motive.
Even the elite team of FBI agents assigned to the case is baffled by the ingenuity of these perfect crimes. But who's commiting them? Why? And how? So far, there's only one connection: each victim knew Jack Reacher. And this time, even he's runnung blind.
