Michaels is upper-class, a winter blond with gray eyes, and so GQ-handsome that no one would peg him for a killer. No one except for St. Paul homicide detective Paris Murphy. And when several women are found dead-their bodies defaced with Michaels' "signature," Paris throws herself directly in the way of the psychopath who wants to have her-and then kill her.

This is part of a detective series set in St Paul MN. The heroine is a bright homicide detective named Paris Murphy. I liked this book very much and I especially liked the local setting!

The first book in Monsour's Paris Murphy series.
A terrific suspense novel! Even though you know the kiler's identity right from the beginning, Paris's struggle to catch him makes this book hard to put down.

This turned out to be quite good. It's her first book. It's a suspense book, with just a tiny bit of romance. It starts with a murdered prostitute, and gets a little more explicit than I liked, but nothing real offensive.

An interesting read. You have to suspend your belief somewhat more than I'd like to but fast moving enough to make it worthwhile

I am not sure. My mother read it and I haven't gotten around to it so I thought that someone else might enjoy it.
