I thought Nora Roberts combined just the right amount of fantasy and romance in this novel. The fantasy let's you go back to when you were five years old and dreamed of princesses and castles and white knights while the human desires of the characters make the stories almost believable.

If you like fantasy then you'll like this book and as with all Nora's book I couldn't put it down.

like that it had 3 stories in one book. I enjoyed them very much.

The Witching Hour: This was a good overall fantasy + romance. I personally like stories about meeting your destiny or following your fate. I particularly liked how the wolf ends up being everything she wanted and needed in her life.
Winter Rose: This short story seemed a little too much like a reverse "Beauty and the Beast". Maybe because it seemed to be so obvious as to what would happen, it didn't really call out to me. Not a bad read, but not as motivating to turn each page.
A World Apart: Now I have to admit, even as a woman, this was by far the best novel! We always see the women get what they want in a man - It was refreshing and fun to see a man find everything he wants in a woman - albeit a clueless one. As she falls in love with baseball, beer and pizza you have to smile. Not to mention decent action about demons and other worlds! Of all of them, this was by far my fave!!
Overall I easily give this 4 stars, and wouldn't mind seeing "A WORLD APART" as a full length novel instead of just a short story!!

All three books were good. I enjoyed the first two a little more than the third
