Book Description:
Four novellas by popular authors in the science fiction/urban fantasy genre.

Desperation drives Livia typpa Vista to enter a bar in bestselling author Kenyon's "Fire and Ice." The only way out of the horrific marriage her father proposes is for Livia to lose her virginity. But the scarred yet handsome man she chooses turns out to be more than he appears.

In the always terrific Shayne's "Daydream Believer," psychic Megan Rose is getting visions from a killer, but can she convince handsome detective Sam Sheridan that she is not nuts?

In this quartet's third story, "Shocking Lucy" by perennial favorite Forster, Lucy Sexton's wedding is only a few weeks away. So why is she becoming obsessed with a sexy electrician?

Hot author Kantra's rendering of "Midsummer's Night Magic" introduces librarian Janet Porter, whose lover, Ross, disappeared 14 years ago. The man she stumbles across in the forest is the youthful Ross' doppel-ganger, but they can't possibly be one and the same.

Magic and passion ignite the heart in this evocatively enticing new anthology. Hot authors and hot stories are an extremely potent mix!

Each story features handsome heroes who can possess a woman's heart and satisfy her late-night yearnings.

Sherrilyn Kenyon's short story was a first for me and I loved it (4 1/2). Maggie Shayne's story was also very good(4). Suzanne Forster's was good, I just didn't see how it belonged in the anthology as the other three were all paranormal(3 1/2). Virginia Kantra's book was not my cup of tea, but it wasn't bad either(3). Overall I gave the book 3 1/2 stars, that's about the averagerating of all four stories.

This book was so good I couldn't put it down,I think I read it in less than one day. I wish some of the stories had been a little longer but I can't complain. Sherrilyn Kenyon and Maggie Shayne are 2 of my favorite authors so will probably look for more books like this one. Really good read.

Four novellas by popular authors in the science fiction/urban fantasy genre.

Sherrilyn Kenyon: Livia is promised to an 82 year old lech. He won't want her if she isn't a virgin. Her father will be mad as hell, but she heads out to get a man to make her unwanted. How she overcomes her problems and finds the man of her dreams is touching and delightful.

Maggie Shayne: A psychic needs someone to believe in her. The man of her dreams is a detective who finally fulfills her needs, but not before she saves him from a curse.

Suzanne Forester: Meets the Man of Her Dreams a few weeks before her wedding. Will her eyes be opened or not? It is amazing who gives fate a hand.

Virginia Kantra: Straightlaced librarian, Janet lost her love 14 years ago. Now on a dark night she finds the man of her dreams is caught in the net of a fairy queen. But if he is the man of her dreams does that mean she is the woman of his dreams?

The third story is not really a fantasy story, but is very good all the same.
