Romantic Adventure by a good author. Met the main male character in this book in Enemy Mine.

Drew Haviland, antiques collector, winds up having to help the woman (who jilted him years ago) find an antique cross that has been missing for hundreds of years. The race is on to find it before her father dies or another, less scrupulous collector finds it first. The cross, however, is not the only thing looked for and found.

You met drew Haviland in "Enemy Mine". This is his story and the women who once jilted him, Spencer Wyatt. When Spencer embarks on a dangerous quest, Drew has no choice but to help her.

The good news (and bad news) is her use of Trilogies, and continuing or recurring characters. You need to have the whole set before you can enjoy the "read" from beginning to end...!!

Kay Hooper has put more romance into this book than some of her others. Of course there is a mystery behind the story. She leads you into an adventure along with the romance. Good book

Dear Reader, One of the fun things I was allowed to experiment with in writing romance early in my career was developing series and spin-off stories and characters. The series work I do today owes its existence, I believe, to these early ventures, when I had a story to tell that was, literally, too big for a single book.

The Haviland Touch is the result of such a situation, when I found a secondary character in Enemy Mine too intriguing to live only in his supporting role in someone else's story.

So, in The Haviland Touch, wealthy, sophisticated antiquities collector Drew Haviland finds his path crossing that of the woman who had once jilted him, Spencer Wyatt. When Spencer embarks on a dangerous quest to find the legendary Hapsburg Cross, the lifelong goal of her dying father, Drew has no choice but to help her. What he doesn't expect is what happens when he truly begins to understand the woman he thought he knew.

This is a short romantic adventure written by one of my favorite writers. Two people once engaged to marry meet again and go off on an exciting adventure- with all the necessary dangers!
