Book Description:
Dr. Libby Drake is sensible and practical. To her more adventurous sisters, she's always been the "good girl". Certainly not the kind to attract the attention of a genius like Ty Derrick -- until a tragic accident leaves the handsome biochemist at her mercy.

Acting on her uncanny ability to heal, she stirs in the reawakened Ty his own long-suppressed desires for the woman who saved his life. But he's not the only man with designs on Libby Drake. Her miraculous and selfless power has also captured the attention of a dangerously influential admirer. He's pursuing the elementally gifted beauty for his own wicked purpose. And he's willing to go to deadly lengths to make it happen.

I really enjoy this series. It's representation of sisters and their family caring is a joy. Their various paranormal skills make the stories especially interesting and satisfying.

Libby Drake is the fourth of the seven sisters with magic. She is the Doctor, the good girl, the one who never gets in trouble. She has a gift for healing, using her abilities in context with her profession. Libby feels like the overlooked one in the Drake family, she feels she is destined to be an old maid, because she has never felt the pull of passion or the heat of chemistry.

Tyson Derrick is a genius, he and Libby attended college together. She has great respect for his brillance, but not for his social skills. Tyson is a loner, except for his cousin Sam. His interests lie in research but occasionally he needs to fill the emptiness inside, so he skydives, mountain climbs, or works with the Rescue Team his cousin is on. Only a rush of adrenaline seems to make him feel alive.

Until the day his safety rope snaps and he falls 30 feet onto the rocks below him. He is rushed to the hospital and declared in a vegative state. When Libby sees him she is forced by her gift to save his life, even at the risk of hers and her sisters. As Libby collapses he awakens to stare into her eyes and find there is something else that can make him feel alive. That can fill his empty heart. Suddenly he finds his mind filled with everything about Libby. He doesn't believe Libby can heal and considers her sisters con artists who have fooled a whole community. But he is determined to make her his.

There is a beauty and soothing quality in her face and Ty needs to have that in his life, Libby finds she is not without feelings of her own. As they try to learn about each other they are faced with several attempts on their lives. But are they against Libby or Ty. Each is determined to protect the other and the rest of the sisters are going to try to protect both.

Great story. I actually think this series is better than her vampire series. About the sister "Libby" the healer.

This is the third in the Drake Sisters series by Feehan. It's a fun, sexy, suspenseful read.

A little slow at first, but definitely a surprise ending. I couldn't put it down once I got past the first half.

A good and true to the story continuation of the series.

I enjoyed this one and the exploration of Libby's power, as she was the most intriguing on to me from the beginning (outside Elle of course)

I think this was well done and I have enjoyed this series from beginning to end, it was different enough from her Carpathians that, while she definitely has a thing for the Alpha male, the men weren't quite as grating as her Carpathian men tend to get when I read those books back to back. (don't get me wrong, I love the Carpathians, but that get to be a bit much if I don't take a break between books lol)

Anyway the differences in the series' are what made it easy to read the Drake Sisters one right after another.

I found this book to drag just a little. Libby and Ty are great together, I just thought the story line should of moved a little quicker. Also, there were a lot of sex scenes that were not well written. I really enjoyed the first 3 books in this set but this one just didn't stack up to the others.

This book was the story of Libby Drake Tyson Derrick. It was an intense read. Libby is the healer in the Drake family gifted as an empath and able to heal with her energy. Tyson is a skeptic being deeply enmeshed with science. He's a close-minded genius who eventually opens up to Libby in more ways than one. I loved this one of the Drake series the most.

I love this book. Christine did a wonderful job cooking this book up. It's full of suspense and humor and just the right amount of romance, which i'm not usually a fan of. Wonderfully written, would recommend to anyone I know.

Being a sister I love books about relationships between sisters. They are seven daughters of a seventh daughter and all have there own unique powers.

Never knew a brainiac could be so sexy. Course this braniac is a muscular action junky and he meets his match in the healing touch of powerful and compassionate Libby Drake. I love the way these magical sisters stick together, their men don't stand a chance! Filled with intrigue from the first chapter, I didnt know who done it till the very end. Couldn't put it down!

This was the first Feehan book I ever picked up & this book got me so hooked that I read the entire Drake Sisters series, the Ghost Walkers series, and all 17 Carpathian books. I highly recommend them all, even if Paranormal or Vampires are not your thing. Keep on writing Ms. Feehan, I think you are an amazing author!
