Book Description:
James Qwilleran and his famous felines, Koko and Yum Yum, are back for another mystery-solving stint in the beloved bestselling Cat Who... series.

The magnificently mustached local columnist Jim Qwilleran (along with his two Siamese cats, Koko and Yum Yum) has his hands full with numerous projects associated with the town's 150th birthday. But when an aspiring young architect visiting from California -- the nephew (and only heir) of the deceased socialites Nathan and Doris Ledfield -- asks to sketch his renowned home (a renovated apple barn), Qwill happily obliges. When the young man stops by, however, Koko inexplicably assaults the visitor by dropping onto him from an upper balcony. Quill realizes that his extraordinarily perceptive Siamese knows that something unseemly involving the architect is in the works -- but what?

Very disappointed with how this series is going. Plotlines not finished. Characters not true to how they've been in past books. Storylines not as interesting.

Not one of the best "Cat Who" books but the characters are all familiar like memebers of our own family. For that, I enjoyed it.

I was a little irritated by this book - all of the earlier Cat Who books had a fairly decent plot line in regards to a mystery. The entire mystery of this book really seemed to involve about 10 pages total of the entire book. The rest was devoted to the sescentiennial celebration of Pickax. There wasn't much about KoKo and Yum Yum either.

I don't recommend this book if you are looking for a good mystery. If you want something about the goings on of Pickax this is the one for you.

I just got this book, and loved it just as much as the others I've read in the series. Very entertaining. I finished the book just a few days after receiving it in the mail. KoKo is just too smart!

Another good mystery with Jim Qwuilleran and his extraordinary Siamese cats Koko and Yum Yum. When Qwillhas to entertain Harvey Ledfield, an aspiring architect, he has to deal with Koko's strange behavior and Qwill better brush up on his paw language because Harvey's aunt and uncle have gone missing.

My first venture into the Cat Who series, and my last. Quite cute, however.
