If you've read the first two .. you have to continue on with this one. The whole series are classics .. but this is not the best of the bunch.

Recommended, along with Clarke's classic Rendezvous with Rama ( LJ 8/73) and Rama II (Bantam, 1989, coauthored with Lee), for most libraries.
