Sam shares his thinking in a candid, straight-from-the-shoulder style.

While I have always been an opponent to the Wal Mart corporation and the sheer size of its business, I have a new found respect for the company and its founder. From humble beginnings (all the way to the end), you really have to hand it to Walton for his persistence in business.

This is the inspirational story of how Sam Walton started from relatively humble beginnings and created the giant retailer Wal-Mart.
