Angel C. (The second book of the Riftwar Saga follows Pug as he is discovered as a slave onthe alien world of Tsuranuani by one of the magical order known as the Great Ones. Pug is trained in the magical arts, becomes a master, and eventually participates in events that alter the societies of both, his home world and the alien world he has lived on for many years.
Carol P. (This is a sequel to Magician: Apprentice. They were both quite good.
