This fish makes "Jaws" look like a family pet and a minature one at that -
was interesting enough that I read it a second time when I started running really short of reading material

It was a very quick and light read. I did enjoy it, but I felt the author kind of crammed some stuff in towards the end of the book. It was a good break book from the type of genre I have been reading.

Love this book. Gave my mom nightmares and my brother couldn't finish it because it scared him so bad, but I love it! Edge of your seat read.

Meg makes Jaws look like a guppy. Alten's science is sound which makes this book even creepier because it could in theory happen. The Challenger Deep is sorta like outer space on Earth not much is known about it and not many people have been there. In comes Charcharadon megaladon, great grandpappy to the fearsome great white shark. Upwards of 60 feet long and weighing in at 45,000 pounds with a mouth the size of an SUV full of razor sharp teeth. On a dive to the lowest point on the planet Jonas Taylor comes face to face with his biggest fear then his fear becomes even more complicated as the Meg rises to the upper levels of the ocean. It grabs you and doesn't let you go not even in the end. Its a must read for any shark lover. 5 out of 5.

Very visual writting. I think about deep sea diving differently from then on.

I loved Meg. Much more terrifying than Jaws. Very quick and reasy read.
Hopefully this will be made into a movie.
