This is a quick and easy read. The details are good and believable in the story. The plot about people who can channel some souls and not others for testimony is really interesting and different. I was a thrown by the ending. I didn't see it coming at all. Normally I can tell from a mile away. So that was fun for me!
If you like paranormal thrillers this is definitely worth the read.

Good story and beginning to a series! I don't want to give too much of the plot away beyond the description above, so I'll just say that this is a fast and easy read which I definitely recommend to anyone who likes thrillers or stories about the paranormal. Stephen Woodworth writes very well, and I especially love the way he describes things. Umbrellas don't just open, they mushroom. A woman has lovely soymilk skin. Woodworth paints quick, interesting pictures that enhance the narrative without bogging it down.
I'm surprised more people weren't interested in seeing the Violets disappear -- just about anyone with a secret to keep might see Violets as potentially problematic. There are at least three more books to follow this one however, so maybe that will come up more later....

I picked this book up but I wasn't sure if I'd like it. For me it was a real easy read & it held my interest from the beginning. I liked it so much I got the rest that he has written and am anxiously awaiting the next release.

Awesome book. Kind of reminded me of the Tom Cruise movie where they can see the future using people. Kept me engrossed the whole time reading it, and I could barely put it down at night when I went to bed. Looking forward to reading another novel from Stephen Woodworth.

Excellent paranormal thriller with a new concept. The writing was griping and the pace was just right to keep you rolling. This is the first in a series and I've read each of them. I wish he would release another!

The police call them The Violets. They have a special gift that is crime-fighting's secret weapon. Through their violet eyes, they can actually expose the face of a murderer. But now one killer is closing their violet eyes .. permanently...and even the FBO can't stop him.
Exciting book .... different ... great characters.
