This is a very funny book that is not exactly a cookbook but does have some good-sounding recipes in it. It's the humor of a southern gal and her friends, The Sweet Potato Queens.

Again, I want - I NEED - to be a SPQ. Following these recipes and financial tips, I hope to someday achieve my goal. Truly funny; wonderful FATTENING recipes (and I do plan to try a number of them); and the financial tips are just no brainers! We can all learn from this group!

Hilarious! I haven't tried any of the recipes but the book keeps you laughing through out. I enjoyed it almost as much as her 1st book. If you liked the first Sweet Potato book you should definitely read this one.

I really didn't like this. I like most humor but thought these ladies were stupid.

A sassy, sarcastic read. Good read for the bathtub...or at least for the times between putting in a load of wash and chasing a mud-soaked kid across the backyard.
