Great, contempory short sories. Haven't read all of them but here's the first line from my favorite so far: "Your father picks you up from prison in a stolen Dodge Neon, with an 8-ball of coke in the glove compartment and a hooker named Mandy in the back seat." - Until Gwen by Dennis Lehane
Not necessarily indicative of the rest of the stories....but how can you not want to read more of that?

I love the best American short stories series and this was a great one! I thought it had some really unique and cool stories in it!
