This western romance is sort of a semi-sequel to For the Roses, one of Julie Garwood's best, "featuring the unforgettable frontier family, the Claybornes of Blue Belle, Montana" (named after a depressed Lady of the Evening - not the picturesque flower). Also on that list - you MUST try The Wedding. From the BACK COVER: Cole Clayborne had always walked a dark path and flirted with a life of crime. If you haave read For the Roses then this is a must read, it is the end of a wonderfull storey about a familt that you will wnat to visit agin and agin. This will be a book you want to put on your keep pile.

What began so beautifully in For the Roses and continued with The Claybourne Brides comes to a delightful conclusion in COME THE SPRING as Julie Garwood brings us to Cole Claybourne and the elusive Daniel Ryan.
Cole, the rebellious brother, faces a life changing decision when he encounters U.S. Marshall Daniel Ryan, the man who stole his compass from Mama Rose.
Marshall Ryan has kept the compass to lure Cole. He needs Cole's help to capture a notorious band of bank robbers. Daniel believes there was a witness to their last robbery and he means to find her and then the killers.
