First in the series and a wonderful beginning--Kay is business-like but not so harsh as to be a harpie. A plot with just enough twists that I never thought I was being "talked-down to". This was my first Cornwell, and I don't intend for it to be my last.

Very thrilling and chilling. One of the best in the series.
Patricia Cornwell is a great author... or so I've been told. I have read several of her books and I just don't think they are that great. However, Many other people like her and she's selling more books than I am, so I don't feel I have room to complain.

I am a huge fan of Patricia Cornwell, and she does not fail to provide another page-turner.
