That's the deliciously racy topic that Jaine Bright and her three girlfriends are pondering one night at their favorite after-hours hot spot: Mr. Perfect. Would he be tall, dark, and handsome? Caring and warmhearted -- or will just muscular do? As their conversation hears up, they concoct a tongue-in-cheek checklist that becomes an overnight sensation, spreading like wildfire at work and sizzling along e-mail lines. But what began as a joke among friends turns deadly serious when one of the four women is murdered....Turning to her neighbor, an unpredictable police detective, for help, Jaine must unmask a killer to save her friends -- and herself. Now, knowing whom to trust and whom to love is a matter of survival -- as the dream of Mr. Perfect becomes a chilling nightmare.
Really good book. Just the right amount of suspense, romance and humor!!!

Murder mystery, comedy, love story all rolled into one. I highly enjoyed this book and found it to be a very quick read.

I took a break from my historical romance novels and read this. Boy am I glad I did. It was a page turner, reading it in 2 days. I loved how Jaine and Sam said and did what they felt, too many H/H don't act on their true feelings- they just meshed together after the initial idea of trying to exist as neighbors. The chemistry between them was great and the book made me laugh over and over again. I truly enjoyed this book and you will too!

This is one of Linda Howard's best books. What a great story! Plus there's romance, humor, intrigue and murder. A great combination. I never will forget the image that came to mind when the heroine caught her neighbor (a cop) at night, grabbing a drink from the refrigerator at night in the buff.... If you haven't read it yet, put it on your MUST READ list!

Linda Howard has written some new books, that are different from her earlier books, and I like them much better. This was a really good book.

Another Linda Howard romantic suspense well thought out and executed. Oh, and did I forget to say enjoyable? A group of friends come up with their idea of "Mr. Perfect," joking around one day, and then following up on the Internet. That is, until one of them is found murdered. Let the games begin...

Part romance novel, part psychological thriller. Mr. Perfect is both a frightening and funny look at the search for an ideal mate.

What would make the perfect man? That was the question Janie and her three friends were discussing over dinner. Their fatel mistake was making a list. The list got into the wrong hands not only causing the group problems with family and co-workers, but it also got them the attention of a very sick person. Can Janie and her neighbor the cop unmask a killer before he kills the friends.
