Search - The Power of Three (Charmed)

In this book we learn how Prue, Piper, and Phoebe discover their powers. Having been separated since their Grams death six months ago, the sisters become the Charmed Ones, the most powerful of witches, when they are reunited again. Prue finds their mother's old spirit board in the basement with an inscription on the back that reads, "To my three beautiful girls. May this give you the light to find the Shadows. The power of three will set you free. Love, Mom." The spirit board leads Phoebe to the attic where she finds 'The Book of Shadows' and reads an incantation. This book is basically just like the pilot episode to the show 'Charmed,' but it was nice to read the book and get into their heads, know more about what they were thinking.

I think this is the first book in the loooong line of Charmed books out there. I liked the series, at first. But by the time it went off the air, it had jumped the shark. When the house exploded with all three sisters but they came back in different bodies ... and the whole thing with Adam. Horrible actor. That's beside the point. The book is okay and it has Shannen!

It is a fun read especially if you are a fan of the show!
