Dr. Louis Camuti is in his 80's when he writes this book with the help of the Frankels. His veterinary practice in New York City has been unusual in that he made "house calls". A no nonsense dr, he remembers the funny times as well as the sad times with his patients and their owners.

Very funny collection of anecdotes by a "cat vet" who cared for cats in NYC!

This book of reminiscences was written by a famous veterinarian who made house calls in New York city and mainly treated cats. Some of the stories are touching, others are very funny. They remind me of James Herriot's stories a little, though they are generally shorter than his.
