30 years ago this book changed my vision for how to raise my sons and how to reach out to everyone I came in contact with. I plan on reading it again!

This book built a case (Biblically) for shoeing honor to one's parents and then helps work through the process of being a blessing (or writing one) to one's parents-living, dead, estranged, etc. Fabulous book. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This book was recommended to me. I liked the concept, but it was not very concrete in ways to get or give the blessing. It was also too religious to me, and attributed things such as homosexuality to not getting enough love from your parents, which is ridiculous.
