First of all, Diane Carey is one of the best of the Star Trek writers, so I knew the book was going to be good, and it lived up to its expectations. This is a race for fun and honor, and where more than one star ship will race against The Enterprise, but of course, there is a nemesis who also wants to stop the Enterprise... I loved it. From the first page to the last, it was well written.
