I call this a rainy day book. Drake decided to go for humor and I was surprised. He pretty much hit it. I wasn't greatly impressed with the last story but they all were entertaining and the reason I call it rainy day is that it's s few storys, none of them to long. I would recommend it.

Janet B. (This is not a typical David Drake book but is a collection of humorous stories aimed at the funnybone. Meet the goblin paratroopers, the fearless spacecops or the tough mercenary elves and humans, all in situations that involve the ludicrous.
