As with all of Karen Kingsbury books, this is a great book. Great story of love lost and found again thanks to the persistence of a daughter looking for her parents.

This is one of the most heartwarming books I have ever read. I didn't want to put it down.
A soul stirring tale of love lost and hope for forgiveness. I loved this book. Karen Kingsbury is a very inspiring author. I could not put this book down.
Kingsbury again brings forth well-drawn believable characters and painfully realistic situations that cause teens and adults to think through their actions in light of God's love and desires. Lauren and Shane have loved one another since childhood, and before their junior year in high school, Lauren becomes pregnant. The reactions of the teens and their parents form the basis for this thoughtful, caring story.

Shane Galanter is ready to put down roots after years of searching. But is he making the right choice? Or is there a woman somewhere who remembers a love that hasn’t faded with time? Lauren Gibbs is a successful international war correspondent who gave up on happily-ever-after years ago—when it was ripped away from her. So why is life so empty? Emily Anderson is a college freshman raised by her grandparents, about to take her first internship as a journalist. But before she can move ahead, she discovers a love story whose tragic ending came with her birth. As a result, she is drawn to look back and search out the mother she’s never met, and the father she never knew. With hallmark tenderness and power, Karen Kingsbury weaves a tapestry of life, loss, love, faith—and the miracle of resurrection.
