This is a amazing book. Margret was such a strong woman!! She lived her whole life doing for others. I could not put it down!

The novel was well grounded in historical facts. Unfortunately not much happens in a woman's life so we are mostly exposed to traveling details, gossip and wars. I was disappointed not to learn how she dies and went to the internet for more info.

I almost never abandon a book, but this one just plodded along. I'm sure Margaret of York's life got more interesting after she was Duchess Margaret of Burgundy, but after 300 pages I no longer care.
