I really enjoyed this book--it is multi-layered and the characters are wonderfully drawn.

Good read. Suggest you read "Lake News" first.

Oh, wow! This was a terrific book that drew me in and had me falling in love with the characters and Lake Henry, New Hampshire, within several pages. The love story of Poppy and Griffin, the mystery concerning Heather...it all was so engrossing. This definitely was a can't-put-it-down book!! Since I never read the first book about the Lake Henry inhabitants, I'm going to be ordering right now!!

really enjoyed this story. The characters are well-developed and her style of writing really draws you into the story and makes you care what happens to each of them. (Unfortunately didn't read "Lake News" first, but liked this one so much that I have ordered it from pbs!)

An Accidental Woman is a sequal to Lake News, and they are wonderful! I have them both listed here...enjoy!
