This is a Regan Reilly book. She is a private detective. In this book, she's in New York trying to solve two murders that have taken place at at the Settlers' Club, a private club that has been around for a long time but is having financial problems.
If you like Mary Higgins Clark books, then you'll also love her sister's books. She writes great suspenseful mysteries just like her sister. I enjoyed this book immensely. I love her main character, Regan Reilly. She has very believable characters.
Regan is in New York attending a crime conference organized by her mother and enjoying time with her new beau, Jack.

In case you were wondering... yes, this is Mary Higgins Clark's daughter. A fine chip off the maternal block. I find Carol's writing to be a little faster read. Fun, well-plotted, deftly written. A lovely summer book!

Good Book. I like these Regan Reilly mysteries. They are light and fun reading. This is the second one I have read. Alot going on in the story and keeps you wanting to know what's next.
