Book Description:
Bobby Pendragon is a seemingly normal fourteen-year-old boy. He has a family, a home, and even Marley, his beloved dog. But there is something very special about Bobby.

He is going to save the world.

And not just Earth as we know it. Bobby is slowly starting to realize that life in the cosmos isn't quite what he thought it was. And before he can object, he is swept off to an alternate dimension known as Denduron, a territory inhabited by strange beings, ruled by a magical tyrant, and plagued by dangerous revolution.

If Bobby wants to see his family again, he's going to have to accept his role as savior, and accept it wholeheartedly. Because, as he is about to discover, Denduron is only the beginning....

Really good kids book about a boy who had to step up to a challenge. I really enjoyed this one. It isn't the best kids fantasy I've read, but it is definitely unique.

Most of the reviews have said "great for teens" "My kids loved it" or something similar but I would like to point out that they are great for ANY age. The whole series is great! They are exciting and suspensful in a very enjoyable way. So instead of saying great for kids or teens, I would say "Great for anyone of any age who wants to read good books that are not full of grown-up junk"

I only started to read this book because I was bored and had nothing else at the time. But as soon as I started, I was hooked. It's definitely something different, keeps you wondering.. and definitely not predictable.

Definitely fun to read.

Amazing and original.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone (Though it does have some swearing throughout.)

This is a great adventure book for tweens, age 12-14 range. The language in the story is straight forward and the narrative voice is easily believable as that of a teenage boy. The adventure is interesting and much like an Indiana Jones adventure that takes place on some other planet. I would recomend this books to young boys as it may keep them interested. As an adult that enjoys young adult/teen books I have found better reads that require a higher reading level and are perhaps more...poetic? But hey - for a target audience of boys 12-14 I'd say the writing style fits.
