A very good romance story about two sisters, Marian and Amanda, and the cowboy they both like.

Johanna Lindsey weaves her usual magic in "A Man to Call My Own." Marian and Amanda make sure no one realizes they're identical twins, each for her own reasons. Love changes both of the feuding sisters as they make their way out West to live with their aunt after their father's death. There were so many surpises and plot twists in the story, I had to read it twice - just for the fun of it!

Dana J. (I did like this story quite a bit, but not as much as others as I've read by this author. There were some light chuckles, but not nearly as much as others I've read. It felt like this was either a really early writing or one that was done just to get something out and published.
The ending was a nice twist, but the "mean" sister's about face in such a short amount of time was predictable and unimaginative.
Overall, the book wasn't up to par with her other ones and I'm glad I got this through a swap and didn't pay for the book!
