A secret that changes everyone's life -- I didn't make it past the first chapter. Too unsettling for me. I prefer feel-good books.

Four friends suffer through divorce, illness, finding independence and the mystery of a missing man. Their friendship remains strong throughout their adventures and misadventures.
4 friends gathered by the lake for a birthday celebration although one is scheduled for a mastectomy the next day. Someone arrives who thinks he knows best what best for the girls and it's up to the Club to protect their friend even if it means keeping a secret that could end their friendship.
