Very good mystery with romance!

This is a suspense thriller from a wonderful author. Clare Westbrook keeps stumbling into dangerous situations such as drive-by shootings at her office, murders and the disappearance of her neighbors and friends. Although reluctant to do so, she soon realizes that she needs the help of Tony Sonterra (a local police officer) with whom Clare has a love/hate? relationship. Sonterra is bent on not only solving the crimes that seem to surround Clare but in rekindling their previous affair.

Featuring a savvy defense attorney Claire Westbrook and a sexy homicide dective Tony Sonterra. A hungry attraction, a hidden enemy.

Good fast read.

Since we share the same last name, I wanted to love her book. It just didn't measure up. But then lots of people love it, so don't take my review as the last word. Different strokes for different folks.
