Not really enough "romance" for me, but still a very good read. A very heartwarming, family story.

I picked up this book in the hospital gift shop while my husband was in the hospital. I was just looking for something to pass the time, I didn't care what it was. Well, this was the best book I have read in a long while. Very heartwarming, fun and memorable characters. Laugh out loud funny at times. This book ran like a movie in my head. I'll be lookin' for more Fern Michaels.

A good book to take with you to read in grocery lines, in bank lines, in traffic jams, or in a comfortable chair in your living room.

Another great book from Fern Michaels. Darby learns to live again after a tragic accident takes her friend's life. Full of fun times and romance.

I purchased this book after having read on of Fern Michaels book for the first time. It was was the best $8.00 I'd spent long time. Darby and Russell work thorough the nuts boths of a transitional period in both their lives. The aunts are the epitome of southern charm and wit, seasoned with a pure frankness that is comical. More than one romance unfolds as the story is told and we begin to wonder if history will repeat itself. Within 2 days, I was finished. Captivated, I just couldn't put it down! You'll love it! I'm sure!

I was a little disappointed with this book not because it wasn't a good read but because it wasn't what I thought it was. The summary boasted an unrequited love between a woman and her best friend's brother but really it focused on her elderly aunts and what was happening in the neighborhood.

I just didn't like the confusion.

If you are a fan of Fern Michaels, you will like this book about the ladies club, family secrets and new loves. I am not a fan of hers and didn't particularly like the book, except for some amusing moments.
