I thought I new how this might end, until almost the end. Then it made you wonder what was going to happen.

I really enjoyed this book (and Book 1 The Parting). Ms. Lewis is a wonderful author who pulls you into the characters and storyline with ease. I can't wait until the next one in this series!

I couln't put this book down. What a great story of love of a family and their many challenges. Highly recommended. Can't wait to read book 2 and 3.
Nichole R. (Beverly Lewis has done an excellent job of continuing Nellie's courtship. She introduced new characters that help the reader view another perspective on Suzy's death. She developed a family & shared a real heartwrenching relationship. I am anxious to read the next book but not ready for the series to end.
