This book had some suspense (even some mob action)tied in it which was different than Beverly Lewis's other books. This book was authored by her and her husband, David Lewis. This is not part of a series, however it would be interesting to learn more about the characters in the book. If only witnessing were this easy in real life though.

This one's different in tone from other Beverly Lewis books I've read and I wondered if I'd enjoy it. Turns out I did. The end has a couple of interesting twists and I'd love to see this one become the start of a series featuring Mellie and Ryan... though I don't think it was written with that in mind.

An amazing story that held me spellbound until the very end ...a very good tale and a very good read ! One of the best I have read. I give this book 5 stars plus !

Good book

This is my least favourite of all of Beverly Lewis's books -- criminal underworld theme was a real stretch. Christian message delivered with a sledgehammer. Just not her usual gentle read.

Took a little while for the story to get started. Once it did, it was a pleasant suprise. Would recommend reading this book.

A dramatic thriller plot, written with Beverly Lewis' engaging style and Plain characters.

I didn't like this one as well as Lewis' other books.

Another great novel...this one written by Beverly and her husband David. You just want to read all her books... She introduces you to the Amish way of life. Hard to put down once you start reading.
