If you've maintained aquariums for years or are just getting started this book has a ton of helpful information. But if you ARE the n00b to aquariums you should definitly read this book so as to get a better understanding of the type and how much you're looking to spend. You may think "oh Uncle Lester has a tank he's not using" and not realize how much you'll have to spend in accessories as well as letting the tank 'cycle' before you stick fish in. There is a LOT to learn and this book will definitely help get you started on the right path ^_^

Lots of good, basic information for anyone just setting up an aquarium or for someone who already has one and who needs some guidance on the care of an aquarium.
