This book is extremely useful in first grade when you are working on sight words, sentence order, capital letters and end marks. It also supports comprehension! Students must unscramble the sentence and then complete the picture using the sentence. The sentence might say "I saw a dog with spots." and the students would be expected to draw the spots on the dog. I have used these worksheets as center activities and they make great, self-explanatory work for when you have a sub!
