A very intriguing book with lot's of twists and turns till you are not even halfway guessing how it will end by the time you get to the last page! One of my favorite authors and always a page turner.

The Fontenot family has lived as sharecroppers on Bertrand land for as long as anyone in New Iberia, Louisiana, can remember. So why are they now being forced from their land..........
