Book Description:
The college years are a time of noble pursuit of knowledge, self-betterment -- and unending peril! Students are at risk from the moment they receive their acceptance letters. Fortunately, the authors of the phenomenally best-selling Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook series have come to the rescue, offering all-new, hands-on, step-by-step instructions for surviving the worst that higher education has to offer, on campus and off. Learn how to identify a party school, engineer a hookup, survive "the spins," and escape a stadium riot. Discover the best way to sleep in class, pass a test you haven't studied for, avoid the "freshman fifteen," and pull an all-nighter. With practical advice for avoiding laundry and identifying unsafe institutional food, along with an appendix of excuses for missed deadlines and a back-up diploma, this is truly required reading for all college students -- and a perfect high school graduation present.

Great advice on just about anything you can imagine dealing with in college - everything from how to avoid the freshman fifteen to how to take a test when you haven't studied.

I gave this to my son the summer before his freshman year. It eased his fears and got him excited about upcoming college for fall. I could hear him laughing as he read it. Good, easy and quick read.

Although I am not a student at a large university, private college, or even a more normal college I still enjoyed this book. I attend a Technical College, which has smaller classes, no dorms, and less time spent at school. This means that most of the information within this book was unneeded by myself. Regardless, it was well written, and hilarious! I read the entire thing, cover to cover, and plan on keeping it within my collection. This makes me look forward to reading all of the Worst-Case Scenario handbooks!

Where was this book 20 years ago, when I was in college? Well, an amusing trip down memory lane for me. It had some useful advice for my next Halloween costume, and I actually used the suggestions on how to chill drinks without a cooler this New Years Eve!
