Book Description:
In this sequel to the phenomenal New York Times bestseller The Fires of Heaven, we plunge again into Robert Jordan's extraordinarily rich, totally unforgettable world:

On the slopes of Shayol Ghul, the Myrddraal swords are forged, and the sky is not the sky of this world;

In Salidar the White Tower in exile prepares an embassy to Caemlyn, where Rand Al'Thor, the Dragon Reborn, holds the throne--and where an unexpected visitor may change the world....

In Emond's Field, Perrin Goldeneyes, Lord of the Two Rivers, feels the pull of ta'veren to ta'veren and prepares to march....

Morgase of Caemlyn finds a most unexpected, and quite unwelcome, ally....And south lies Illian, where Sammael holds sway....

Another in a great series. This one dragged just a bit in the first half, but the ending definitely leaves you wanting book 7!

It took me about half the book to really get into it, but after that it was very hard to put down. I get the feeling that Jordan is sort of failing to move his plot along any from book to book, but I'm still looking forward to reading the next instalments.

I love this series. Every book has been amazing. Where most fantasy writers create a country RJ has created a globe filled with different cultures, customs and languages.

Excellent book, yet somehow ended up with two of them! By book six, Jordan has quite a few characters to control, yet he does it masterfully.

I have been reading the series. This book seemed slow but picked up at the end. Good read, just not as fast paced as 1 through 5 were. On to book 7!
