Book Description:
A fictionalized biography based on true events in 12th-century England and Ireland, and told in alternating chapters by the principals, Richard de Clare--Strongbow--and Aoife. Felicia J. (Llywelyn's novel tells the story of a disgraced Norman knight who found a new home in Ireland, and of the Irish princess who became his wife and his strength. It was an absorbing, touching read, but too short. I would like to know much more about Richard de Clare and Aoife.
