I thought that the books were ok. I was not really crazy about the author.

Once again Hannah Howell has done a fabulous job. Continuing the story of the Murray family of Scotland in the mid-1400s, it's Elspeth's turn.

Hannah Howell is a very good and interesting author. Her Highland books are great.

Love all the books in this series! They can all stand alone, but if you like one, you're in for a treat because there are lots more to choose from!
