I really enjoyed this book - I have included a summary from Amazon:

Cyn admirably escapes a childhood of neglect and abuse by running away at age 17. She survives the next five years supporting herself the only way she knows how - by selling her body. With fierce determination, she saves enough money within 5 years to move to small-town North Carolina and reinvent herself, find an honest job, become a productive member of society, make friends and fall in love with the town's understanding and nonjudgmental preacher. Her relationship with Bruce is threatened because it's difficult for her to trust any man, and she feels unworthy of the love of a good man. Cyn's abuser eventually catches up with her, and starts stalkin, threatening and tormenting her. With the love and support of Bruce, and the protection of the entire community, including a mysterious clairvoyant character, Cyn finally finds safety and much deserved happiness.

This is an awesome series that I would highly recommend. Good complex charachters, lots of laughs, and oh so steamy. this series begins with the Winston Brothers and concludes with teh oh so awesome Jamie. A must read.

lori foster is one of my favorite,favorite authors.

You fisrt met Bruce Kelly in "The Secret Life of Bryan" Now Bruce comes into his own-and a whole lot of trouble-when he falls for a woman who is nothing like he is,but everything he wants......

Prostitute meets Preacher. That's a love story with irony and a fun.

Bruce is a minister and Cyn is a sinner - an unlikely but endearing mix. Love, of course, is the leavening that reveals their common humanity.

Bruce Kelly comes into his own- and a whole lot of trouble - when he falls for a woman who is nothing like he is, but everything he wants..

lori foster wow that girl can crack me up in her books i love them this is one of 3 in this one i believe the one before this one is called the secret life of BRYAN i have not yet read it but am looking forward to reading that one also and the one after this one is just a hint clint i think it goes with the other 2.

Makes you think, if you're looking for light entertainment this is not it.

Cyn Potter is a survivor with an independent streak. She takes charge of her life and ends up in a small town where she finally finds safety and love. One character in the book, Jamie, is very interesting and I would love to know his story.

Love all of Lori Fosters book. All of this series is a great read.

Another fun read featuring the citizens of Visitation, North Carolina. Main characters are minister Bruce Kelly and Cyn Potter, new to town and turning her life around.

Quick light read. I liked the characters. Part of Visitation series.
